Visual Impairment

InfoVision for the people, Visually Impaired Congenitally or people who lost their hearing ability due to a disease or an accident.

What is the vision?

Vision is a talent that how the brain perceives and recognizes the visual images of our environment. Seeing process can be divided into two stages.

> The first stage is to transfer visual images from outside to the brain;

> The second stage is the recognition of these images by the brain.

First Stage

Vision is responsible for transmitting visual images to the brain. Thanks to the ability that reacts the light with the vision organs, the brain receives visual signals from outside.

The first organ reacting the light is the eye. More precisely, the retina of the eye. The light falling on retina triggers the reflex. Depending on this reaction, an impulse occurs that goes into the visual center through the optic nerve. There is, basically, a visual image is formed which corresponds to a signal from the retina, neurons chain having a particular configuration. It becomes constant according to repeating the same electrical signals corresponding itself by regularly and it is fixed as constant visual displays. In this way, Visual Image Database is created in the brain. This basis formed since the early days of a person’s birth, is constantly updated and refreshed throughout his/her life.

Second Stage

In order to describe, if there is already a constant similar visual image comes from outside to the VID, it could be recognized and seen by the person. If there has been no image like it in VID yet, there would be generated. Later on, the brain remembers it by recognizing the image received from outside.

If the functioning breaks down at the first or second stage, the person loses his/her ability to see.

Can the person, in this situation, gain the ability to see again?

If the problems can be eliminated which constitute obstacles to see, yes, they can. However, this is not possible oftenly.

Until recently, there was no other option, if the eyesight was lost temporarily people had to live in darkness.

As a result of the work we have done in many places in the world for 20 years, we offer an alternative route. InfoVision

Human brain can gather information around the world without using the five senses. It just does not know how to do it.

What is the approach of this new study done with visually impairments?

We discuss Vision Defects in two main categories.

Innate Visually Impaired

People who have not used the ability to see at all from the moment they were born

People who lost their ability to see who subsequently

Those who lost their eyesight as a result of an accident or illness .

We discuss Vision Defects in two main categories.

Up to age 13

In studies with small children up to age 13, can get results much faster.

Over 13 years

In studies with individuals over the age of 13, it is less likely to get results and time depending on age.

Vision Problem

This category encompasses the individuals who can perceive visual information via using high-resolution lenses.

What is the approach of this new study done with visually impairments?

After reaching the conclusion that we use in healthy individuals with an opaque mask, we applied similar studies on visually impaired (with more long-term and different methods). Once the Direct Information Perception Center is activated, obtaining alternative for participants, and in practice we finally succeed for them too.
